2016 Biotech 101 Series
presented by Dr. Neil Lamb, Vice President for Educational Outreach

HudsonAlpha offers the greater Huntsville community the unique opportunity to learn from leading scientists directly involved in research and discovery.

Biotech 101, HudsonAlpha’s public education course, introduces participants to the field of biotechnology and the influence of genetics on human health and disease. Each session is presented by HudsonAlpha scientists and educators and includes a primer on basic genetic concepts followed by examples of these concepts in a research and/or commercial setting.

The 2016 Biotech 101 series will be held on August 30, September 6, 13, and 20, from 6:30 to 8:00 pm, in the Jackson Center. Each session includes a brief intermission, providing coffee, water and the ever-popular Jackson Center cookies.
